Does Monster Hunter Now support Co-op Multiplayer?
An AR mobile spin-off of Monster
Hunter series created by Niantic that is famous for developing Pokemon Go.
Monster Hunter Now allows users to hunt creatures in the actual world-using
mobile.
Monster Hunter Now is like the
earlier games from Niantic. Users discover the game world & look for
interactions on the actual map. They will interact with creatures from Monster
Hunter games.
Monster Hunter Now copies
numerous elements from Pokemon Go, although there are crucial differences b/w
both titles too. Battling creatures is still dependent on tapping &
flicking on the mobile screen, but now there are crucial differences as users
need to fight against monsters like Monster Hunter games instead of catching
them like Pokemon Go.
Users equip different weaponries
including melee & ranged weapons that are required for dodging the hit of
big creatures. They need to upgrade or replace their tools to eliminate harder
monsters.
Monster tagging aspect is
available in MHN, allowing users to lure encountered creatures & battle
them in diverse sites. Users can do this manually, but this can work even when
users turn off the app with the help of a buddy that looks similar to a cat.
Is Co-op Multiplayer confirmed for Monster Hunter Now?
Monster Hunter Now is an online
game. Fortunately, users can play solo too, but the gameplay mainly focuses on
Co-op. The game trailer showcased users partying up to beat 1 of the Monster
Hunter’s Elder Dragons.
Teammates should be present at
the same location in order to fight against dragons together via Co-op. Every
fight will end in about 75 sec that is fast as compared to the normal 40 min
fight of the Monster Hunter series.
The pace of the game is based on
how the multiplayer mode works, which is faster & easier compared to
Pokemon Go. This game does not feature any lobby. You need to tap an icon when
you are prepared to battle a creature & you will get the names of users
surrounding you who are prepared to help you in fighting against monsters.
Tapping again will put you in a battle. Up to 4 users can team up to fight the
giant monsters.
