Similarities & Differences in Little Nightmares 2 (II) vs Little Nightmares:

Little Nightmares is a puzzle-platformer horror game series created by Tarsier Studios and published by Bandai Namco. Little Nightmares is the second game in the series & now you can control a new playable character ‘Mono’, & lead character ‘Six’ from the earlier game will help you but she will be controlled by artificial intelligence (AI).

 

Little Nightmares II has a fresh Story:

The sequel is set after Six runs away from Maw & she interacts with a good boy named Mono. The game lets you control Mono, who is trapped in a place distorted by the broadcast of a distant tower. Six is a girl who wears a yellow raincoat, & she is controlled by AI in part 2. Now your job is to discover the coverts of The Signal Tower & save Six from her dreadful destiny.

Differences in Story & Settings of Little Nightmares II vs Little Nightmares:

In Little Nightmares 2, horrors are lurking around every corner of the city. The sequel proceeds from where the original game ended, but now things are creepier than before & the locations are terrifying as compared to Little Nightmares. Little Nightmares II features puzzle solving & stealth for progressing through the story.

 

Little Nightmares 2 has a better Story Campaign than Little Nightmares:

Your journey is not safe. You will confront dangers & your path could be deceptive. But you will get help from Mono to unveil the dark secrets of the Tower. The single player story campaign of Little Nightmares II is more detailed in comparison to Little Nightmares.

 

Protagonist in Little Nightmares 2 vs Little Nightmare:

Little Nightmares II gives you control of Mono who is a bit different from Six, because he wears a paper bag mask instead of Six’s yellow coat, but his skills are largely similar to Six. Mono is able to gather & wield different weapons. Six helps Mono in gameplay, but in certain regions of the game Mono has to move alone.

 

Multiplayer Mode is not included in Little Nightmares 2:

Like Little Nightmares, the sequel only includes a solo mode.

Despite you are accompanied by another character, Six, Little Nightmares 2 does not offer cooperative multiplayer mode. Six is controlled by AI & she plays a big role in the game story.

Little Nightmares II releases on PC, Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X & S on 11 February 2021.
