Comparison: Similarities & differences of King of Seas vs Sea of Thieves:
Sea of Thieves is a big game for
Rare & lots of content have been added in updates that has upgraded the
base game. 3DClouds has developed a big game “King of Seas” which looks like
Sea of Thieves but it is different in a number of aspects. King of Seas is an
action role playing game. King of Seas features procedurally generated worlds,
ship wars, trading & finding loot. A lot of focus is given to interaction
with non playable characters. King of Seas also features naval routes &
there is a navigation system that helps in steering the ship.
Be prepared to shoot enemies with
your cannons & control the oceans. Just like Sea of Thieves, 3DClouds most
ambitious project takes you to an epic mission to find missing bounty &
discover complicated maps of the expansive seas.
King of Seas is set in a
procedurally generated world which refreshes the game exploration mechanics
each time you replay it. The world of this game is responsive & you can learn
from it, & it is responsive to gamer’s every action. The game difficulty
will raise as you progress & you will face harder dares with every mission.
You can customize ships just like Sea of Thieves, & other similar features
include conquering settlements, & exploring maps. The game focuses on naval
ship control just like its rival game “Sea of Thieves”. Very similar to Sea of
Thieves, you can bomb other ships with cannon balls, & can avoid other
ships with high speed if you do not want to fight, or your ship is severely
damaged. More similar features include a skill tree which allows you to upgrade
skills. Every ship in King of Seas will have its own handling, & weather
will have an effect on them too like Rare’s game.
King of Seas is different from
Sea of Thieves because it is not a first person pirate simulator. King of Seas
is more similar to Sid Meyer’s Pirates, than Sea of Thieves. You can enjoy
naval battle from bird’s eye view, & your ships can fire multiple cannons
at a time.
More differences between King of
Seas & Sea of Thieves are the former is a single player game & not
multiplayer like the latter. The former has a strange connection with
historical accuracy. First of all, the game world is generated procedurally
& it is fully fictional, even though the designs of vessels are mainly
focused on classes that are similar to the Golden Age of Piracy. The game
features accurate historical characters, that is another bizarre element. King
of Sea features lasers. The vessels can be customized with 900 objects, &
not all of them can just customize your ship. They are not fully precise to
1400s tech.
King of Seas does not feature a
map that displays the full worlds when you start the game, so you need to
explore the world. You must travel from one isle to another, trade with others,
fish, & find bounty during your journey.
The dynamic world of King of Seas
features change of naval & shipping paths based on the person who possesses
the land.
King of Seas releases on PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One & PC in 2020.
