Both PS5 & Xbox Series X have lots of confirmed games including exclusive, & third party games. Both next-gen consoles offer backward compatibility which means games of previous generation will work on next-generation.

PS5 won’t play PS3 games, even though it is backward compatible with previous generation. PS3 Blu-ray discs, & PS3 PS Store games won’t work on PS5. Similarly, PS5 won’t play PS2 DVDs & PS1 discs.

According to Microsoft, all Xbox & Xbox 360 games playable on Xbox One will also work on Xbox Series X. Microsoft has made an official page that mentions all Xbox & Xbox 360 games playable on Xbox One, & all of these games work on Xbox Series X. The list covers more than 600 games.

Hence you can play more games on Microsoft Xbox Series X as compared to Sony PS5.

A lot of video games have already been confirmed for PS5 that are set to be released in 2020 & beyond. The line-up of games for PS5 is amazing, including exclusive games: Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Gran Turismo 7 & Horizon 2: Forbidden West are all making its way to PS5.

Every PS5 will have a free platforming game “Astro’s Playroom”. The objective of this game is to familiarize gamers to PS5 gamepad. You can learn about old & fresh features of DualSense such as unique feeling of tension in the spring as it compresses down. Haptic feedback allows you to feel different sensations such as when protagonist is struggling through sand, running in a normal way, or bouncing into ice blocks. It also familiarizes you with touchpad which is slightly bigger in size as compared to PS4’s Dual Shock 4, & the newly included mic.
