Comparison: Similarities and changes in Call of Duty Modern Warfare vs Black Ops Cold War:

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is revealed & it is not a remake of the 2007 Modern Warfare but a reboot of the original sub-series. It has new features but Captain Price will make a comeback in the upcoming game. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is set to be launched on 25 October 2019. 

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was released last year & it did not include a single player story campaign but the upcoming game will have it. The upcoming game is focused on a fictitious Middle Eastern country Urzikstan. However, the game missions will take place all over the world. 

In the first half of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare you will control a British spec-ops team, under the leadership of Captain Price. In the remaining half, you will play with Farah Karim, the female leader of rebel group in Urzikstan.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will include multiplayer & we had a chance to watch its multiplayer mode to see the modern features. We do not know a lot about this game as developer Infinity Ward does not reveal more details but at least we know when more information will arrive.

A multiplayer reveal of the game will arrive on 1 August 2019 & also more details are expected to release about any other modes of the game. One of the top feature we are expecting from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is cross play & the developer announced it earlier when they revealed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a reboot of the original Modern Warfare game which was released in 2007 & unlike Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 which only had a multiplayer mode, the new game will include a story campaign as well.

The cross play feature of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will let gamers play with other gamers on same or different platforms.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered can be completed in around 4-5 hours. The gameplay varies based on your speed & the difficulty level but I have seen multiple full game walkthroughs on Youtube & mostly people have ended the game in around 4-5 hours. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare offers support for modern equipment & many of the new features are available only in multiplayer. You are allowed to take cover after receiving damage which will let you avoid opponent fire & you will slowly recover. 

The game does not feature any armor or health power-ups. When you receive damage your heart beat will increase & the screen edges will glow red. After avoiding enemy fire, you can recover.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare added Gunfight mode which allows you to make a team of 2 players & fight against other teams of 2 players. It is only able to provide 2 vs 2 fights & there are no respawns in this mode. Gunfight mode will be expanded beyond 2 vs 2 fights, & the game will support 3 vs 3, & 1 vs 1 fights.

The developers are working on 3 vs 3, & 1 vs 1 fights.

Gunfight mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare which allows two versus two gamers is going to expand. A new update includes a new single elimination tournament variant for Gunfight which allows 16 teams to fight across 8 rounds, & total number of gamers who can participate are 32 (16 squads) & in the end only 1 squad is going to win.

Gunfight mode offers gamers just 1 life with a random loadout. Squads that claim victory progress to the next round (they gain XP & more rewards) while those who lose go back to the lobby without earning anything. The squad who wins the complete tournament gains a cosmetic item & XP.
