Is Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction coming to the Nintendo Switch or Mobile (iOS & Android)?
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six
Extraction is set to be launched on all prominent platforms in January 2022
except Nintendo Switch & Mobile (iOS & Android). As of now, Ubisoft has
not confirmed if they are porting Rainbow Six Extraction for the Nintendo Switch,
iOS & Android. Users of Nintendo Switch & mobile have to wait longer
for a new announcement from Ubisoft.
If Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six
Extraction makes its way to the Nintendo Switch, then I think that it would be
a cloud game, similar to other Ubisoft games for the Switch platform like AC
Odyssey, Hitman etc.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six series never made its way to the Nintendo Switch & mobile:
None of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six
games launched on the Nintendo Switch & mobile (iOS & Android).
Prior to the Nintendo Switch,
some of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six games launched on the Nintendo 3DS &
Gamecube.
Why Nintendo Switch & Mobile is a good platform for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction:
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six
Extraction is set to be launched on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S,
Google Stadia, & PC.
Rainbow Six Extraction can make
its way to the Nintendo Switch because Nintendo is focusing on the local
multiplayer mode. Rainbow Six Extraction’s focus on cooperative play could make
it an excellent choice for the Nintendo Switch.
Nintendo Switch is a very good
platform for multiplayer games. Fans love co-op multiplayer games, & Switch
is a comfortable platform that lets you play local & online multiplayer
with your mates.
Multiple Nintendo Switch consoles
can wirelessly connect with each other, letting players play games without
using the internet or a local wifi.
Rainbow Six Extraction seems like
a heavy game for Mobile. However, a lite
version of the Rainbow Six Extraction would definitely work on smartphones.
Similarly, PUBG Mobile Lite works on the smartphone because it is a toned-down
version of the fan favorite battle royale game, PUBG. PUBG Mobile Lite is
compatible with Android, & iOS. It even works on cheaper & old
smartphones.
For now, gamers have to wait longer for more updates from Ubisoft. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction can make its way to the Nintendo Switch, Android & iOS in the future.
